another note to self - stop falling head over heels in love with random leading men in musicals... they are almost 90% guaranteed to be gay...

all right. all this rain really is too much. i mean, i like rain as much as the next angst queen, but just once i'd like to walk somewhere without getting soaked or having to wear a hat/hood.

you know it's bad when you can crossover rocky with not only 'farscape', and make it work too well, but also 'buffy', and make it almost work... inspired by the last line of the chorus of "touch-a touch me", which ends, of course, with the words "creature of the night". creature of the night --> vampire --> spike. and if that wasn't enough to prove it: creature of the night --> rocky --> blond --> spike.

oh, come on...

right. cast list, starting from that premise:

rocky horror - spike
frank n furter - giles (anthony head played frank. i have the pictures to prove it. that, and they played his version of sweet t at the con...)
janet - buffy (based on the song :P)
brad - oh, it has to be angel. it just has to be. or no! riley! hahaha!
magenta - willow (the hair colour...)
riff - xander
columbia - anya (and the whole columbia/frank thing works, too...)
eddie - xander (then i get to kill him off...)
dr scott - um...? snyder?
the criminilogist - should also be giles, technically... oh, i know. wesley. ;)

*manic laughter* oh, it would be so funny, though... and my hormones are running in little happy circles at the thought of gold-underweared-spike... (it's always fun being around me when i'm like this :P)

concert all done. eve staying the night. wasn't too bad, all things considered. full lowdown when i can be arsed. for now, something to entertain you all with:

All Is Well

Death is nothing at all... I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were toe ach other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. it is the same that it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well...

which probably looks very bizarre out of context, bu with the music, was very pretty indeed. and inspired fic. and prodded my Muses about a bit and for some reason reminded me inexplicably of norma (but then, everything does...)

anyway. futher concert-ness - tom corfield remains a genius of the organ, the brass ensemble were loud and spinetingling, and there was only one major screw-up in the 'sanctus' ;) pretty good all round, though...
