Spuffy - numb

Welcome to the excitement that is my life...

Ho-hum.  So, today I filled in the application forms that I have to take to the Job Centre tomorrow, though the forms are so badly explained, I still don't know if I'm entitled/supposed to claim for income-based support or contribution-based.  In any case, I need to remember to tidy up my CV before, like, tomorrow.  Hrm.

There is a Mysterious Parcel TM at the post office awaiting collection, because they turned up while my mother was out and I was still asleep.  I hate postmen.  Why is it they're perfectly happy to leave packages from Amazon lying on the door step where anyone can steal them, but a package that is most likely worthless has to be picked up?  Guh.  Anyway, I think it's most likely the parcel from Katie, which should be a tape or tapes, possibly, and a letter.  Which means I now need to send her CD and horrendously ancient letter (it dates back to about February. There's a section in it where I'm enthusing about the snow...)

What else... oh, yes, our new washing machine arrived today, which means we can now wash more than one towel at a time.  The old one, as a point of interest, wouldn't; it also had a bra wire trapped somewhere inside it, which might account for some things...  The new one has a 1300rpm spin speed and it judders when it gets that fast because the floor isn't level.  However, it's marginally more logical to use than the old one, which means I may actually learn to do washing at some point this year...

Oh, pandorasblog, I await the mix-tape with antici...(all together now)...pation, and ask, would you like a CD/tape in return?  It's been a while since I did one. :)

Talking of music, I have Seether's debut album still to listen to...

Anyway, tomorrow I have my Job Centre interview thing, then we're going to see Shrek 2 and hopefully attempt to find Shelleys in the mass of steel and glass that is the Bull Ring so I can get some trainers.  Meep.  If nobody sees me again, assume Selfridges the giant silver armadillo ate me...  I'm also due a mission to Tesco in my eternal quest for the MH DVD...

I have too much to do and not enough online time to do it.  For starters, I'm still meant to have done some more work on Vicky's website, but it's all horrenously boring and time-consuming even with copy-pasting everything, so I'm putting it off.  When I get it done, it'll be fine.  If I ever decide to use thumbnails for anything, please, please hit me.  I have chapter three of Come Forward still to finish and upload for my *ahem* adoring public, I have a Phantom fic to finish (got a review today from someone who'd just found it and I realised it's really been over a year since I updated it, which is really quite annoying because it was going so well...), I have the post-CF thing to finish up for roosevelt and countless other things including work on my own site...

Meh.  I want longer days, please...

And, amusingly, I just dropped the ball out of my mouse down the back of the computer...
